To Catch the Prospect

Every day you are exposed to thousands of advertisements whether you are aware of it or not. These advertisements come in many forms. From television, to social media outlets, to the sign on the side of the road that you drive by every day. There are so many ways of advertising that to even begin you must first probe each of these outlets to see which one will serve you and your company the best. As I discussed in the web article The Battle for the Market, you first have to look at your options, probe your options and then see where your resources need to be. (LIST>PROBE>PRIORITIZE)

Let’s start by looking at just a few options that every person has at any given time. First and foremost you have the Internet. At any given time there are billions of people using the internet for various reasons. Through standard advertising solutions such as Google Ads, Bings Ads, and so forth can easily begin this process. However, ensure that you finish reading this article before just jumping in on the listed solutions. Another resource that you have available at any given time is Social Advertising. Every day millions upon millions of individuals varying from middle schoolers to those already in retirement are searching and connecting on social outlets around the world. This is a prime target for advertisements, because whether the individual knows it or not they are taking in your advertisement. As scientist explore some of the reasons for people using social media, they discover that those who are constantly searching or browsing social media are looking to explore something different. So if you present them with a compelling advertisement, they will be compelled to take a better look at your company or product. You also have what people in my field call the Original Ad. The Original Ad is the use of advertising on digital or solid road or walk signs. These range everywhere from a simple sign on the side of a interstate to a complex digital sign in the mall. Your options are limited only by your imagination or by that of your marketing company.

The probing process is simply that of testing your advertisements in the different resources with different audiences. A reason that an individual is more inclined to hire a marketing company is for the simple reason that they have had previous experience advertising and will have a better idea of what resources will work best for your kind of company and the best responsive audience to place these resources. They will also have experienced creating compelling advertisements to catch people’s attention. The probing process continues by selecting your resources. In this example I am going to choose Facebook. Continue on to choose the type of advertisement that you would like to do. For this example, I will be conducting a month long probe so I will coordinate with the rest of my company to plan a month long deal and will create an advertisement based on that. Then you must choose the amount of money you are willing to spend. In this case I will choose $900 for the month period. Then how much you are willing to spend each day. In this case I am willing to spend $30 per day to really push my probe to get the largest results. Then I will launch this probe and after, monitor the progress.

After probing several different resources you will want to gather all of the data and see what you ended up with. It may take you several days to see exactly what the overall results were. When you finish analyzing your final results, you should now know exactly how your money was spent and where you should focus your time in the future. However, don’t dismiss the rest of the resources for things to change as time passes. While back in 2014, Facebook lost a lot of users and a lot of bandwidth. In 2015, they once again skyrocketed with new and returning users as they updated their network, tools and options. Do continue to launch small probe processes as you continue your large campaigns.

Of all the processes the most important is the setup of the advertisements and to maximize positive results, a company will utilize hiring a company such as Crusade Marketing to make sure that this happen. Because while you can do it yourself, it only takes one mistake to lose it all.
